Secure Fields for Dog Walking and Dog Agility Training Field for Hire

Secure dog walking fields for hire

We are pleased to announce that all 3 of our secure fields are now open for bookings, as well as our dog agility training and practice field.

It feels as though it’s taken us a long time (and a lot of hard work!) to get the whole area fenced and secure but we’re happy with it and our dogs are loving it. We now hope you and your pooches will enjoy it too.

You can book the fields and agility area at whatever time of day suits you best because we’re open from dawn until dusk. So, whether you prefer to exercise your pooches before work, after work, or during the day while the kids are in school, there’s nothing to stop you getting some fresh air and having fun. If the kids want to come too, or you prefer to walk with your other half, all fields (except our agility field) have their own picnic bench so you can always bring a picnc along too.

All fields are secured with 2 metre fencing and each field has an individual gate for safe access. Privacy screens are fitted to each field private and secluded from the next. Our set-up offers peace of mind for anyone wanting to exercise and train their dog without interruption, as well as a safe and secure place to let reactive, nervous, or anxious dogs run free.

You’ll find lots of information here, on our website, including prices, how to book, as well as details of our fields and agility equipment. If you can’t find the answer to your question, just give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.

Field A is our Agility Area

Our first snow!

Fresh snow fall… A lovely view

Today was doubly exciting for us because, not only did Fido’s Fields have their first snow fall overnight, but we also made our way onto the large field.

We’re setting up 3 areas in total (2 secure exercise areas and an agility area, all on the same site). Although we’ve been working on the first field and the agility field, we hadn’t done any work on the other field. In fact, before today, we’ve only been on this other field once!

Today, we had to remove part of the existing fencing to create the pathway through to the other field. It was a great feeling and spectacular view to see the fresh snow.

Carrying the fence panels was hard work but at least the exercise kept us warm!

Once we’d got our pathway, we worked through the snow, to start fencing putting the fencing in place. It was extra hard work because the fencing, tools and everything else we needed had to be carried a long way through the snow, to the bottom of the field. Typically, we’d get to the bottom of the field and realise we’d forgot something and then we’d have to trudge all the way back to get whatever it was we needed. At least the extra exercise kept us warm!

We’re not quite ready to open yet, but we’re starting to see things coming together now. At last, we feel like we’re making progress and will keep you posted with news on our opening day.

Fido's Fields secure dog walking fieldsWe’re excited to accounce that we’re working hard on clearing the fields, erecting fencing and getting everything set up so that we can be up and running very soon.

We’ve been slowed down by the constant rain we’ve had recently, but we’re working in all weathers to get everything done. We haven’t got a definite opening date yet but we’re hoping for the end of January/beginning of February. We’ll keep you updated with progress as we go and will let you know a definite opening date as soon as we have one.

We’ve been using the fields ourselves and we’ve had a few family and friends over with their pooches, who all give their wags of approval. They’ve all enjoyed running around regardless of the weather. They just don’t seem to understand at all that we’re not having as much fun in the rain as they’re having!

Feel free to contact us now to express an interest and we’ll keep you posted with opening dates, as well as special introductory prices.
